If you must click on top left to close a window, your OS is crap. If your windows open stuck on the left of the screen, your OS is crap. If your taskbar is on top, your OS is crap. All of them WORKED flawlessly, the problem was ME and my old habits.

Too little options, too many options, weird options, options in wrong places, weird UI You name it. Tested MANY, hated most of them for various petty reasons. Gee thanks… So, yesterday I did what I had planned to do for a looooong time: Linux. So I foolishly thought that hey MAYBE this fancy new 11 can fix these massive issues I have. Constant hangups, slower than a dead turtle, fan SCREAMING for mercy 24/7.Just a painful painful experience. I have this 7 year old laptop that has been a nightmare since I “upgraded” it from 7 to 10. Now You: is your device compatible with Windows 11? The Surface Go's Pentium 4415Y is not on the Intel list.

It appears that Microsoft cut older processors that are compatible with Windows 10 from the list. Update: Microsoft released lists of supported Intel and AMD processors. I could not find the reason though, as the Surface Go matches or exceeds all of the requirements listed on the page. You may need to compare the requirements with the capabilities of the PC to determine why it cannot be upgraded to Windows 11.

I ran the tool on a Surface Go device, by Microsoft, and was informed that it is not compatible with Windows 11.
